Why create a pedagogical escape game?

  • Discover the concept of educational escape games and their various applications (life-size, tabletop, etc.)

  • Identify examples of escape games that can be integrated into a learning sequence

  • Distinguish between the concepts of gamification and serious games

  • Highlight the benefits of escape games for learning

  • Understand the contributions of cognitive psychology to the learning process
